Is the tub deck made of wood? If so is this made by a specific company?
The wood windows on this project are by Weathershield, and distributed in Austin
i am unable to comment on any costs. this bathroom was built in 2004, and involved a trim carpenter, a plumber and the painter to seal the wood. We chose mahogany because of its ability to stand up in a damp environment.
I like the clean simple look of the wood
completely elegant and indulgent. The mix of woods helps the bathtub stand out, and adds a dimension to the room that keeps it from being too matching.

This deep wooden tub has a more familiar rectangle shape. I love the look of this warm wood tub next to the more intricately patterned tiles. Look for similar custom and standard wooden tubs here.
