Major remodel to 1930's house
treads are solid oak about 25mm (an inch) thick but the structure of the stair is steel so the bits down the side are oak cladding and cover the glass
Not quite floating on the wall but looks great

I'm talking about the materials and labour fee. I'm making a new house and I want to use stairs like these. I'm sure
4ft wide, 5.5ft high, 4 runs of these. What would the price be for making stairs like these but with my height, width and number of runs? THANKS!
photo above and without running actual numbers for this stair, I would say the pictured stair would run in the 12k-18k range. Materials and labor only
engineering, permits, etc. Other unknowns would be the structure that the stair is attached to. There could be some additional cost to reinforce the walls
it ribbonlike, yet boxy. The glass guardrail reinforces the floating effect of this stair.

What type of wood is used for the stair treads? Thanks.
The stairs themselves will create the tension. My personal experience with horizontal cables was the need to tighten the cables periodically. Good luck
Oh wow- floating stairs along rock wall going to tower would be oh so cool
Stairs on cables = cool. Not this one.

This stair has a 7 1/2" riser and 11" tread, which is very comfortable. The angle of the photo probably makes the stair appear a bit more stretched out
