“it is worn out and needs to be replaced. YOu can find these pretty easily in junk and antique stores - at least here in New England.
The chairs were also found at an antique store but they are newish. They are called "Authentic Hitchcock Chairs" and are signed "Nichols-Stone" and they have rush woven”
