Is there a stain on the 100 year old reclaimed flooring?
The wood on the floors and ceilings is 100-year old reclaimed red oak barn wood. The ceiling wood is finished with highly diluted aqua tint to give it just a hint of color and left without varnish to assure the wood looks natural and that there is no reflection

What is the wood type and finish. This is a stunning kitchen.
Is there a finish/stain on wood? Is the wood pine?
The colors of the cabinets and countertop go very well in this kitchen. We like wood stained cabinets, but
but are afraid that they will make our 10x10 oak floored kitchen look too much like a wooden box. This kitchen with the wall shelves and the clean look countertop looks very warm and coordinated.
The wood is reclaimed yellow southern pine with a clear sealer.
