Houzz Sweepstakes Rules

Eligibility. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Contest open only to legal residents of the United States of America or Canada (Void where prohibited by law), 18 years old or older. Please note that there can only be one winner per household. Offer void where prohibited. Employees of Houzz Inc or their immediate families are not eligible to participate or win. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

How to Enter. Individuals may write up to 10 reviews at www.houzz.com.

Contest Period. The contest period is from June 1, 2012 to May 31, 2013. One winner selected each month.

Prize Package. A random drawing from all reviews that were approved by Houzz Inc will determine the prize winner- the person who submitted the review. The prize winner will receive a new Apple iPad.

All taxes on prize, if applicable, are the sole responsibility of winner. Prizes returned as undeliverable or otherwise not claimed within 14 days of delivery of notification will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner at Sponsor's discretion. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for other prize/merchandise. Prize winner will be determined by Houzz Inc, whose decisions and interpretation of these rules are final in all matters relating to this contest. Winner will be notified by email. Winner may be required to sign and submit an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability.

Winner, by acceptance of their prize, agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless Houzz Inc, and each of their respective employees, representatives, agents, contractors, assigns, sponsors, advertisers, officers, directors, shareholders and attorneys from any and all liability, loss, damage, cost, claim or expense related to any allegation regarding the award of, the receipt of, or the use of prizes.

Winner acknowledges that Houzz Inc, has neither made, nor are in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, or regarding the use, value or enjoyment of any prize, including, without limitation, its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose. Sponsors and their agencies are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone failures of any kind lost or unavailable network connections, fraud, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions, whether caused by Sponsors, users or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions which may damage a user's system or limit a user's ability to participate in this contest. Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel or suspect this contest should a virus, bug, computer problem, unauthorized human intervention or other cause beyond Sponsors' control inhibit or corrupt the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the contest, and Sponsors may disqualify any person who engages in or attempts any such activity. This contest may be terminated at any point without prior notification. Rules shall be governed and enforced pursuant to California law, excluding choice of law provisions.
