One more question. What is the width of the seating area?

We ended up buying a Badeloft BW-03-XL. Tyler provided excellent customer service, answered lots of questions over multiple calls, kept me informed about delivery dates. It's one of their most popular models so took almost 2 months to get here but was right on schedule. Just under $3k including shipping and their optional EZ Drop in drain (+$190) that our plumber recommended. Looks good in the crate but won't be installed for another couple weeks. The BW 08 model is a bit cheaper and much faster shipping, and very spacious relative to its modest footprint...a close second for us.

Agree, Oceania seems to have a great reputation though we didn't find many dealers in Chicago. almost pulled the trigger on Oceania Milano tub..acrylic, but supposed to be good quality.

Hello Sameer, Curious to hear observations and opinions on your bath after using it a while. We're thinking of starting with Badeloft sinks - one freestanding. Thanks!

We replicate as closely as possible antique and vintage tubs. I am sorry but we are purest about our soaking tubs and do not offer jets, nor bubbles. Just a wonderful bathing experience and a piece of art for your bathroom.

The house we moved into had a very small bathroom and it had a tub but you could barely moved in there so we had it removed and had a shower stall installed so we now have a little more room to move in.

I renovated my only bathroom and removed the tub and put in a lovely walk-in shower...I'm not concerned with resale. When I sell, if they want a tub, those peeps will renovate like I did, to make it thieir own!

We have been shopping for tubs and won't consider one we can't actually go and sit in to check the lumbar angle and overall comfort. We have found some bath showrooms are willing to get a tub in for us from the warehouse so we can test it, but we have had to drive upwards of an hour to see all the tubs we wanted to. Finally found what we wanted but it was exhaustive to get there. Haven't done the remodel yet, but hoping that our choice will be as good as we expect.

We finally went the same route - got to sit in - and purchased on the spot a Mirabelle tub!

Try thebathworks.com The Roman is the original tub introduced to the US in 98, made from a solid surface material to be stronger, rigid and longer lasting that acrylic.

Have you ever considered using The Bath Works, we hand make new castings of the original French Bateau styles baths, the designs that have been watered down into two piece designs rather than one luxurious casting

We took an antique tub and recast using a special Alloy to create a beautiful non-rusting bathtub - our St. Versailles. The picture shows the tub with our Hand Polished #25 exterior, this exterior is designed to give the look of burnished iron.

The definition of luxury is to have the space and money to create the bathroom of your dreams. We have a huge master bathroom that I want to renovate and I’ve considered removing the tub but the picture window that you see when you walk in just screams for a gorgeous free standing beauty.
I’ll remodel when I can afford a gorgeous tub and money to upgrade the shower and vanities and tiles.
(I’m exhausted just thinking about it.)

Tub...we are putting in a Japanese soaking tub next to a curbless shower. Tubs are the luxury though a steam shower runs a close second IMHO.
