TM GRADY BUILDERS's Affiliations

The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) is the largest housing trade association in the United States. We represent the craftsman, innovators and problem solvers who build homes, enrich communities and change lives.

Operating at the local, state and national levels, the NAHB federation helps its members achieve professional success through knowledge building, networking opportunities, access to industry experts, advocacy efforts and savings programs. NAHB strives to protect the American Dream of housing opportunities for all.
The BIA Baldy View Chapter mission is to promote growth of the building industry through representation of its members and educating both the industry and the community at the local level. In addition, the Baldy View Chapter shall maintain a presence and influence on industry-related issues at regional, state, and national levels.

Earlier this decade, the homebuilding industry contributed more than $60 billion a year to the state's economy and generated 525,000 jobs, but the sharp downturn in housing construction has since cost the state’s economy $27 billion and 300,000 jobs. That’s why the Baldy View Chapter is today focused on efforts to help jumpstart the industry, such as the recently enacted homebuyer tax credit, and to oppose proposals to make building homes for California’s growing population even more expensive and difficult.
Home owners that are looking for ways to save energy and be kind to the environment when they build, remodel or renovate a home should consider seeking help from a Certified Green Professional (CGP).

Home builders, remodelers, designers, and contractors with the CGP educational designation understand green building. Today, there are 3,000 CGPs in the business of helping consumers build a new home or remodel their existing one.

These professionals know how to combine cost-effective building science with an ever-expanding selection of products and materials to build or remodel a home with sustainability in mind. They are trained to incorporate energy, water and resource efficiency, improved indoor environmental quality and sustainable and locally sourced products into their projects — and to teach you how to best take advantage of these features.
