Because of the eave, it is tough to get support in here for enclosure - If you incorporate an entry trellis that is open with posts on either side of your walk just in front of the concrete pad, painted white with wood support brackets (curved elements) off the front and the back of larger 8 x 8 posts so you get a large projection and set 4 x 4 running lengthwise with the walk on those for support to reach just below eave height on left so the 2 x 2 trellis pieces will sit flush with the left and over door eave. Butt the piece up to the gutter over the door with just 1/8' in between so the water will disperse more there and run the railroad trellis elements out to the face of the gable over the bay window. Painted white or in white aluminum or vinyl elements . . . it will let air and light in still but solve that problem. You could try a hardy annual vine on the trellis that would come back and bloom every spring. .
