Bathroom remodel advice!!!

Hi, I am remodeling a bathroom. I am thinking of black beadboard on lower wall, marble chair rail, Carrera tile above to ceiling. Floor a marble diamond w/black squares, and a 6 inch black granite border. Is it a total design faux pas to "reverse the tile and board?" Thanks! Not concerned about water, I mean aesthetically? Thanks!!! (I am the only one who likes idea)

It's the weight of the marble tile on the wall that bothers me, with the chair rail bearing it's weight, plus of course the mastic with which it's attached to the wall. I'd much rather see the carrara as wainscoting. But you could achieve the look you want with black bead board wainscoting, a marble chair rail and Carrara wallpaper above the chair rail.
