I am installing white subway tiles, should I go with glossy or matte?

My floors are wood and pretty neutral, not too light or dark and my cabinets are espresso brown. I am going with Desert Sand or St. Cecilia light granite for my counters so I like the idea of the simple white tiles for back splash but I had no idea that there were so many choices! Any advice is super appreciated!

Glossy will reflect more light. May work better as a backsplash.
