Kitchen, family room, dining room great room combo. I can only choose one paint color for the builder. Would believable buff work?

Yes, I guess I need to get a white for the ceilings. Our last home had all midtone colors and no white ceilings. I love to paint and am very good at it. I thought if I could find a color light enough for the ceilings, then I could do some other deeper colors myself on the walls later on if the walls seemed to light for me. Thanks for your comments :)

My cabinets are antique white with a chocolate glaze. There in lies the problem. I'd like some color for contrast.

I think you could use it on the ceilings if you have enough natural or artificial light around the room. It also depends on your tolerance for color. It's certainly sounds like you are game!
