For my own outdoor cushions, I periodically beat them a bit to remove dust and dirt that collects, and I put them away if the weather turns. I made the mistake of leaving them out on some furniture under a citrus tree once and they got REALLY messy, but the good news is that with a little soap and water, they were pretty easy to bring back.

We have a weather-proof storage box behind the bench that we store them in. Make sure to use outdoor fabrics and cushions.

That seating can't be entirely drystacked stone can it? Is it mortared on the inside?
