This is indeed a perennial that should have no problem surviving a Massachusetts winter.

Thank you so much for your prompt answer to this question. Can you tell me the name of this plant once again. I am so surprised to hear it's a perennial and I have a perfect spot to plant it!!! The leaves are amazing.

Brunnera macrophylla 'Silver Heart' - also called Siberian Bugloss or Perennial Forget-Me-Not. Grows best in part shade with plenty of organic matter and moist soil. I've found it to be quite drought tolerant however once established in the garden. The leaves are indeed amazing! It's also quite resistant to deer and rabbit browsing.
