I am just finishing up kitchen/dining room makeover and am stumped about what lighting to use over the dining room table. The present tiffany style light needs to go. I was wondering whether flush mounted or close to ceiling lights are ever appropriate over a dining table. Please see a few of the sample lights I've found. I am also considering just going with the matching chandelier that goes with the two pendant lights and wall sconce in the kitchen area. Please advise on anything that you see as an improvement.
