What was used to pave the driveway, was in cement or paver stones?

We are looking to redo our driveway which is presently done with paver stones but are very old and need replacing but we are also looking at the option of stamped cement. We live in a very cold climate with harsh long winters and hot summers so there is a lot of temperature change.

These are coral stone tile pavers used on the walkways.
