Painting placement help please

I have two new paintings to hang and I need advice on positioning them. One is to hang above the TV and the other above a cabinet. The cabinet is 140cm high, the TV 115cm high, the width each side of the fireplace wall is 130cm, and the paintings are 60cm square. Should the paintings both be hung at the same height? The painting above the cabinet has to sit higher than a natural eye level because of the dimensions involved, even if allowed to just lean on cabinet. Alternatively I could hang them together on the fireplace wall that is 150cm but if I fit a fire on this wall they probably have to move in the future. Thank you for your help.
