You really should decide the counter top 1st and you may want to use the accent tile for the backsplash on the wall behind the counter. Look at quartz for the countertop: Caesar Stone and other brands have really good range of products. If your cabinets are dark, contrast with lighter counters. For the tiles, go with the lighter color in a bathroom

For your art, go to art.com and cruise through the site, looking at the different types of art and see what appeals to you. They usually have different sizes of the same print so you can choose what size you need. Their prices are good and they have sales, usually 30% off, several time a month. Sign up for their e-mails and you'll get the notices. They aren't the only source of nice art, but I have been very please with what I have purchased from them. :)

We used beveled subway tile in our bathroom remodel that was installed in a brick pattern. We have two sides of the shower with exposed edges that required the side of the tile to be finished. I realized that we would have to cut the beveled tile in half at the end. Websites suggested we cut the tile and have the cut edge against the field tile with the finished side out. The problem with this is that you have the raised center next to the thinner edge of the field tile. Thus, the search was on for a beveled subway tile that had 3x3 beveled pieces so we didn't have cut edges. We ended up using ADEX Nero tiles because they have a ton of finish pieces, including a beveled 3x3 square. They were available in the Chicago area through Virginia Tile and online at several sites. We found the quality to be excellent and all the tiles were consistent. I don't know if this is an issue for you but thought I would bring it up because it did not initially occur to me that there would be that issue.

From reading other wood-to-tile flooring dilemmas, I have to advise that your *first* move should be to decide what transition you want between the two floors and make sure both pros know what you want and that they can accommodate it. The closet gets built first. You aren't running floor under the wall unless the closet is intended to be temporary, in other words you'll have it up for less than the life of the flooring.
