I put the lights inside the front windows this year. After last year's winter I was just not going to look at decorations hanging into April. I made the husband chop the snowman out of the front yard because I could not start April 1 with my jolly little snowman out there.

Same at my house; we have put lights inside the front windows. Makes it homey and inviting, but also keeps down the electricity bill.

Put a real tree in the front window with white lights, a pretty wreath on the door and a Christmas flag on the front porch roof. That is it for decor showing outside.

We put two small lit trees in urns on the front porch. Wreaths go on the windows and floodlights are directed onto the brick between the windows. Understated yet elegant and festive.

Yes we do! And my husband made this large star that we put up on the roof as well. It looks great all lit up. We also put up an outdoor Nativity scene with a wooden stable. Hubster built that, too. We love it when people lift up their little ones to look at it.

Ours is on the simple side, but we love a festive house!
