Help, yellow leaves with green/black spots...

Hello,

I'm completely new to bonsai. I bought two last week the outdoor juniper is looking good so far, the indoor 6 yr old Port Jackson Fig has some leaves that are turning yellow with a couple of dark green/black spots as well. It is in the kitchen above the sink on the windowsill to get dappled morning light. The temperature is 15 - 20 degrees centigrade and I have watered it 3 times so far...does it need more water? Or am I doing something else wrong?

Hi, it needs far less water... far less often. But it sounds now as if it might be a good idea to get it out of the pot, check for slimy black roots and cut them back to healthy ones if you find any, then repot in much faster draining soil (lots of perlite, or coarse sand - small gravelly stuff like aquarium gravel) and get it into more sun.
