The smaller the space, the less practical rotation becomes. Most of us don't have large enough gardens to make crop rotation very effective. We just have to take our chances and not worry too much about it.

How about double digging, would this work for you. At the beginning of the season dig out the back row next to your trellises into a wheelbarrow then onto a tarp if the wheel barrow won't hold it all, dig the next row putting this soil into the back row, etc, etc, until you come to the front row, then putting the soil from the back row here.

I agree with Jim, and peas aren't exactly nutrient hogs that harbor disease... especially since you're regularly building your soil, I'd feel pretty safe planting them in the same space every year.
