No sprouts here yet, but congratulations to you both :)

Didn't start mine (winter sow method) until 5/9 and transplanted into garden 1st week in June. As of this a.m. they are only about 8" tall, however at transplant they were no more than 2" tall :)

My brussels sprout plant was humming along,no sprouts but maybe a foot and a half tall when it was damaged in a hail storm on Friday. Several large leaves were snapped off or in half at the stalk. I trimmed off the snapped ones. Will it recover to produce sprouts? The main stem/stalk still seems healthy...

Im not sure, this is a first year for me on brussel's....Is the leaf stalks still in good shape from you cutting them off? The sprouts grow at the base of the leaf stems, so if there is no place for them to grow that might be a problem. BUT its still early, and theres plenty of time for them to grow new healthy leaves!!!! -cass
