Hermine, your rains were welcomed....at least the first few inches. 8.5" later **big sigh**

We recently had a new septic system put in which raised the ground level on one side of our property about and inch. This was enough to divert the normal flow of run off rain water straight through the garden. My nice pretty rows are now for the most part flat. Looks like I'll have to keep a check out in the woods in the coming months for possible seedlings/seeds that may have found a foothold, lol. Everything was just starting to come up, it's heart breaking :(

Ditch digging next week shall be fun, gotta get this water back on it's right track!!

As for the garden, I can replace most but I am out of beets, spinach and sugar snap peas. If anyone has any of these available let me know. Stop by my trade list and see if there is anything that tickles your fancy. Thanks!!
