WANTED: Seeds of Edibles: Veggies, Fruit, Flowers, Herbs

Hello,

This request is not for myself. It is for those less fortunate. IN RETURN, I will trade my own seeds, send postage, or whatever.

Anything edible is acceptable. My charity (not 501c yet, but working on it) Need 4 Seed sends out garden seeds so that people can grow food for themselves.

We have helped many families already. The reson for their need has run the gamut: over 6 kids, retired and on Soc. Sec., lost job, disabled, hurricane, fire, helping a neighbor, and more.

Note: Many people who have a place to garden (i.e. have a home) are not eligible for many forms of assistance. Growing food is one way they can help themselves.

I accept any seed that is sent (don't forget I will trade for it). Older seed is OK too. Tomoatoes have good germination for 5 years, so older seeds are A-O-K. I would just need to know they are older.

Great idea Robin, reminds me to send seeds to New Orleans Community Gardens, misplaced address. I have a few edibles, mostly from trades.
Send me your address and I'll get envelope out to you, thank you, bless you.

Robin, I have seeds for vegetables, herbs, and other edibles I'd like to donate. I want to clean out my seed stash and don't want any seeds in return. Most of the seeds are from winter sown plants from my garden and others are from trades. Some are older seeds and are labeled with the date. Please email me if interested so I will know where to send the package.

Taking a moment to bump this up. Robin has been EXTREMELY generous to many people. Most of the time she is sending out the food seeds to those in need and paying for the postage out of pocket. Please send what you can. I was in need last spring and she helped not only me but my entire family, neighbors and anyone else I recommended.

I have not been on here recently due to illness and Christmas chaos. I am starting to do better, and want to pick up where I left off. I have been furiously filling seed packs (one can do that while laid up), and am almost ready to do a mailing. I will be taking up the offers of respondents here.
