I am completely new to fruit trees (and gardening generally, in fact) and have found these forums so helpful. Thank you to everyone who so generously shares their knowledge.

I planted my new, bare-root apple and peach trees about 4 weeks ago. I have since learned that I should have immediately pruned them (the apple down to a whip, the peach to 3 branches and open center). Is it too late to do this now, 4 weeks later? Am I best off leaving them alone?
