Okay, I promised I'd post this for everyone, so I snapped a few pics of my new "walk & pick" orchard. This area is accessed either from a hidden walkway that travels down behind our pool, or from the front yard down and around the south side of the house. We haven't put up gates yet - that, the patio roof, some additional landscaping, greenhouse and fountain are the last parts of the project to be installed. But, it's a FAR cry from how it started, which was frightfully overgrown, full of rodents and snakes, and woefully neglected. Hopefully those will be done in the next 2 weeks or so, along with some finishing landscaping. Here's the link to the photo album (you can read my more lengthy comments with each photo this way):
