I had one too! They were so cute. I think they used some sort of plastic pom pom things and glued them on. That was a long time ago!!!LOL

My dear sister made bunny baskets for my kids, she actually glued cotton balls all over the bottle, my kids loved them but that was many many years ago! Sorry I am not much help!

we did those w hen i was a brownie scout over 45 years ago...LOL.. what we did was cut out the belly in an oval shape... add a styrofoam ball for the head... bead eyes...I don't remember if we painted them.. but i do remember we put some kind of plastic Lai around the belly...painte the added felt ear.... can't remember the rest... check out girl scout crafts.. that might be an old craft in a brownie book.... sorry can't help with the rest...

my grandmother made me a yellow duck when i was a kid. i improvised and made a pink bunny. i used tulle for the body and made my own face. i heated a tool and put holes in the bottle and hot glued the tulle fluffs in the holes. Hope this has helped.
