Okay, rustic it is. I still have to add some buttons, a belt buckle, and clean up the seams but it just about done. Never thought I'd find a "good" use for old golf clubs.;)

How totally awesome! You amaze me once again with your talent! I agree with everyone else that the rustic look would work best. I think part of the attraction of sculptures like this is seeing what they are made of. It makes it all the more appealing to think how cool ordinary things can be when put together artistically. I think by painting it, it would detract from that appeal.

don't paint it. it would show up more. robert you have done good work. and even this is unique? but that is the tackiest birdhouse i have ever seen. hehe
