Wanted - B&S 2 cycle Engine Parts - 801285

I am rebuilding a Toro CCR2450 snow blower.thrower that had a blown engine...eveything is all right except I need a connecting rod and piston along with a new jug (the rod went halfway through the block)... Fixing it for a friend so I don't want to spend too much...rest of machine is like new...probably didn't use oil/gas mix...what else is new!

BTW...the engine model is a Briggs & Stratton 801285 Short Block.

Also, any leads on recycle friendly dealers in Fairfield or New Haven counties in CT? I have a local repair shop/dealer, who is nice enough to give me access to his boneyard every so often and either gives me or sells cheap, machines that they have determined not worth fixing (NWF)...I have had some great vintage finds that took a little TLC to fix up...better than landing in the dump!

In the Spring, I'll post for Lawn-Boy machines and parts...

I remember that engine. I even have the Model 95700,96700 2 cycle Engine repair and service manual.

I am also replacing a engine with a hole in it in my shop,Magneto Power sells a 801285 for $222., list price.
