String Trimmer recommendation for tall people

I use a cheap homelite trimmer that DH bought years ago (and cheap is the word...the line feed is terrible!) I now have a bad back and find that the crouch position I have to take to use the trimmer to edge my beds irritates my back. Can anyone recommend a trimmer with a longer shaft so that I don't have to bend/lean over to trim? I'm 5'10" tall and would prefer not to have to bend over too much to use the trimmer as an edger.
