You can ask your friends that drink alcohol to save them for you or go on freecycle and see if anyone has any. You can also post a free ad on Craigs List. I think some of the fancy brands of water and new age drinks come in colored bottles. I've also seen them once in a while at thrift stores and flea markets.

If you don't want to wait, you can purchase the bottles you want by the case from wine supply companies. There are quite a few online.

I just went to our local recycling center -
I got over 80 beautiful colored bottles for
6 cents each. They let me just find whatever
I wanted. Now I don't feel too bad when

I have a few but not enough...The wine bottles are a bit big for my liking...

The Arizona Tea bottle were just perfect...but they quit making them...I have about a doz. of those.

I got one bottle yesterday for an early Christmas gift...from my cousin...I'm tickled she remembered I wanted them.

I got most of mine from the recycle man...but now he has moved up in the company, lol. He just gave them to me and I usually rewarded him with apples or grapes and water. I also get some from GW. But sometimes they charge so much that I had just as soon pay $1.99 and get the bottled mineral bubbly water at places like World Market. At least I enjoy drinking it. That is the price of the smaller one and they do have a bigger one. But you can get the empty wine bottles pretty inexpensive online. Just search wine making supplies.

I have the bartenders at one of our local bars saving them for me as they empty them. I just go in and pick them up once a week...
