A fat piece of grass works well, too! My grandgirl loves it, though my attempts aren't all that musical...

I remeber the music band in our family during the war. We played spoons, leaves and scrubbing board. My tante Marit had a beatiful singing voice and was able to keep up with all the "instruments". It was great fun and great memories.

I used grass too, have not done it in a long time, wonder why. Oh, now I remember, I am not very good at it.

You know childhood memories never go away they just shade in our eyes and whenever we feel the moment it come back and bring a smile on our face. I remember my father used to sing me song from popular music group at night like a baby whisper. I never forget the word of songs and move on to learn about music and equipment.
