I want a full sized John Deere tractor (it can be used if it's in good condition) with certain suitable equipment. And a milk cow, and three acres worth of nice fencing for its pasture, but I'll settle for a couple dairy goats.

I want a second chicken house, so I can expand into a couple three more breeds next spring ( i have four now), I think i could at least afford my chicken addiction if I could sell pairs and ready-to-lay hens and chicks-to-order to other backyard farmers...plus all the requisite pens and runs.

And if Santa's bringin' it, i'll take a greenhouse, not that i could afford to heat the thing...

Lessee...how about a pond, i think if i dug one in the lowest part of my property it might even flow naturally, my neighbors' all do.... with a stone grotto in the hill overlooking it...

I REALLY gotta stop watching HGTV.

Hey, didja hear about the dyslexic devil worshipper? He sold his soul to Santa....

I really, really need a storage building.

Raised beds for the vegetable garden, consistent rain, & no more hurricanes.

More large flower pots and more potting soil. More -more- more.

1 pair of strong arms [attached to a willing back]; 2 hands to help plant; 3 loads of composted horse gold; 4 100-ft bundles of edging ; fi-i-ive new lilies; 6 raised beds, 7 more phlox; 8 irrigation systems; 9 blueberry bushes; 10 truckfuls of shredded leaves; 11 bags of bird feed; 12 stepping stones....and someone to give me a winning lottery ticket to pay for it all.

Seriously: a birdbath sprinkler. And maybe that rubber edging...

Christmas will be too late. I need someone NOW to help split up overgrown pots of tropicals and they can haul the largest portions home, plus some I'm discarding completely. Not to mention the Cannas and Alocasias, etc. which are on the verge of splitting their pots although they may can wait until spring since they die back soon. I never thought I'd say it but I don't need or want anything garden related for Christmas.

Am I the only one still with new pots and bags of potting soil, not to mention 20 unopened packets of seed and several unread gardening books ... 'fess up now. I've even still got plants still in nursery pots...including a Dwarf Pomegranate that has 3 tiny fruits slowly ripening. I do intend to get these repotted before cold weather.

I think I'm just in the doldrums today, though...once I get this all done I'll feel better, if not by Christmas, surely by January when the new catalogs arrive...lol josh

Alright, I will confess that I have a daylily still sitting in the pot, never planted. Will now just go out, dig a hole and plop pot and all in the hole, shove soil around it and wait till spring to figure out where I really want to put it...........

Josh ~ know anyone in your local gardening club? I'd think someone would love to trade help for discards.

No, no leftovers in pots, but there are (at last count) 3 jumbo bags of potting soil in the shed. I haven't any idea where they came from...

Christmas is way too far away to even think about..good grief..we're only 2 days into October. BUT..an nice pile of big river rocks would make a great Halloween present.

Well Marda maybe if you go sit in the pumpkin patch the Great Pumpkin will grant you your wish! LOL!!!!!

I can't even think about Christmas, won't be the same this year so will put off thinking about it as long as I can.
Don't want or need anything for me....................

Right now all I want is rain! I also could use an eviction notice for the resident gopher and a heater for the birdbath would also be welcome.

Raised beds for the garden, YEAH! With paths in between covered with mulch. And some more energy to take care of the garden. One of those reversible kneeler/bench thingies. It's difficult to get up and down these days. And a truly usable shelf/stand for my houseplants (which are diminishing in number, I swear) they all live on the deck during the summer and have to come back inside when it gets cold. What else..a regular yardboy to do the weedwhacking the way I want it done, not the way DH does it.

I would love to have one less tree in the front yard. Hi everyone, I haven't been around for 5-6 years cause we have been busy with other things. So to all of you who were here in the beginning, Ruthanne, Suzanne, Susie in Ohio, Cora in Iowa, Linda C. in Iowa and all of the others glad to see some of you still here.

We have been living in this house for 5 years now and when we bought it I thought the 95% shade was going to be a good thing. Well I would settle for 70% right now so that I could grow some of my favorites. Shade gardening is a challenge for me with all this clay soil, (I secretly think that is why the county is called Clay) and older more creaky body!

    See you around!
