Really beautiful! I'm beginning to wonder if I shouldn't have Archduke Charles also. I love the two-tone coloration. I hope you'll post pictures of more of your garden when the spring bloom gets underway.

Alchemist and Carding Mill are my favorite colors.
I have Tamora which has the same peony-petals as Carding Mill but Tam may be a little lighter apricot, very pretty but not gotten very big in 2 years.

I was doing a search on Mme. Joseph Bonnaire and found the thread about Eurodesert roses. I saw we both ordered it. Yours looks awesome. No flowers on mine yet, but it came through a zone 5 winter with no damage at all. It's about 2 feet tall and already throwing a new cane, quite vigorous. It must have a heavy dose of HP in it.

Okay, duh, I looked her up on HMF and one of the parent is Paul Neyron.

Mme. Joseph Bonnaire, mine pretty quickly threw up a cane when I got her,.. so I think she tends to be a bit vigorous? I'm pretty happy with her so far. There's a nother similar bloom on her this week.

I really like that James Galway has a different sort of look than my other roses. That's a big plus for me. It seems to be very happy, too. It's pretty large compared to some of my other DAs planted at the same time.

I'm really happy I got Archduke Charles based on information and suggestions here on the forum... looking at one picture of it is not nearly as interesting as seeing the real rose. Some other roses, they're pretty much like what you would imagine, but I think this one is kinda more fun. :D
