Vintage----get 'em before they're gone

So I got an email that some roses I'd been waiting on at Vintage were available. Check out the site yesterday to map out the order, went online just now whilst baby is napping and all three are sold out. In less than 24 hours. So frustrating. I know you all understand, just needed to commiserate.

Thanks for reading,

Dawn

    Dawn,
I do know how you feel, but it's really my own fault. I requested a special mini climber for my daughter's fairy garden, and waited too long to order after it became available. lt was around the holidays, and I didn't want to deal with roses just then. Big mistake to wait till after the holiday. Fortunately, the rose I had requested for my other daughter was still available, so I ordered it right away. Lesson learned.

Dawn there is a note on the website along with apology that they made an error loading the available roses list. No doubt your roses are still available, even though the website does not say so. If you go back again I think you'll see the note.

Dawn, I'll bet your rose is one that will be available for the March 15 release. Gregg said that he accidently notified people on the waiting list that had roses in the January 17 release AND the one in March. The same thing happened to me.

I had put several sub=zero, Brownell roses on my "wish list". Of course the last thing I need right now is more roses to move and not sure how they would do in the Texas heat. My wallet is pleased that I won't be ordering those roses right now.

I had a rose that I liberated from my Mom's yard, after she died...it was red and very pretty but the black spot! It would totally defoliate and it had wicked, hooked thorns...since the blooms did not have much fragrance, I shovel pruned the thing...I found a name tag, when I did....it was a sub zero Brownell, I have no idea, why she chose that one..but it was not a good performer, in Texas.

During a visit to the Vintagfe website I saw a mention of their "Super Preservation Sale" but no other info. It was in reference to roses that needed preservation to be available the first part of 2008. That would really interest me.

    Anyone know anything about that?

Thank you all so much for your responses! I am heartened to hear there may still be a chance to buy these roses this season.

I am still confused though. I did not see any mention of mistakes in uploading the list on the website or how I would know whether I was accidentally notified now when they're not available until March...?

I guess the lesson here is mad stampede to the vintage website on March 15?!
