Can you tell me what surface is used for the island counter?

Yes indeed the countertop is concrete. The surface has a slight texture from corn husks. It gave a more natural look rather than a stark utilitarian feel. Happy you like it!

I had a Pau Ferro layed up on a board. then had it digitally photographed. You are actually seeing a digital print layed up between glass. This wood is rare and now no need to cut any more trees down. Its all on file!
