I have the first four of the roses on your list. These teas are new to me, but I've had Belle Vichysoise for some time. I believe that Souv. de FG is one that really took off in my yard last year with considerable neglect. I'll have to wait until the snow goes away so I can check the label again. Duchesse d'Albe is still a twiglet in another tough spot in a beaver's path...need I say more? CfH did not want to take off for me, so I dug her up, and potted her back up and am trying to get her bigger/stronger before I plant her again.

Now, Belle Vichysoise is one of my best bush/cluster flower-type noisettes. She is growing as I expect it should. She blooms quite often, and she produces some hips which I really like. She's about 6ftx5ft but I'm trying to contain her to a rebar tripod. She seems relatively healthy in my no spray BS garden. I don't recall the fragrance, so it may not have overwhelmed me. Beauty? That's so personal. I would grow her for her hips alone.

I too have Belle vichysoise and absolutely love this rose. She defenitely does have a nice fragrance and is the only rose we have that blooms right through our 110 degree summers. She is in a protected spot on the east side of the house but we don't even notice smaller blooms in the heat like most roses. Of course they are small to begin with in large fragrant clusters. Our bush is starting to exceed six feet tall and probably about as wide, it is running into our nandina so it's hard to tell.
