It is not listed on Helpmefind.com nor does it appear in the 2006 or 2007 issues of the Combined Rose List.

Do you know anything more about the rose?

I don't know to much about this rose. I was out house hunting and the tag on the rose tree said rosa mini tree orange surprise. I found this on the web under the 2004 floribunda rose list ORANGE SURPRISE----------------------------------------------OB

That list shows the ARS exhibition name for the rose is "Orange Surprise", it is classed by the ARS as an orange blend (OB) and it was introduced in 1988. But no hybridizer is listed, so that makes it difficult to trace.

I don't have a copy of Modern Roses XII, I hope that Phil Schorr sees this, he might be able to help. It isn't currently in commerce from the documents that I have.

This could be a misnomer or made up name. I bought a beautiful apricot from a rose nursery that called it Apricot Amour......I thought I had a hot new item. Come to find out.....the rose was Fragrant Apricot and there was no such rose as Apricot Amour. Helpmefind has most all the roses listed there. Check the search on helpmefind in orange, orange blends and see if you cant find an acceptable supstitute. There are lots of pretty ones and I am sure you will find one or some to your liking.

I bet looking at places like Home Depot you may find it. That's where mine came from. I bought a matched pair of mini tree roses last spring. The reason I bought this rose was it's amazing health and abundance of bloom.
