I wanted to gather some seeds from my burning bushes. They have red berries that are bursting open to reveal a red berry inside. They feel soft. Is this when I should pick them. I understand they should be planted right away when the seeds are fresh. Is this correct?

Need advice on picking the seeds and growing them.
