LOL Same problem here.I will probably build a structure inside that will help ancor the greenhouse and hang plants from...

Unfortunately, I don't have a good idea, but I do have a word of caution. Hanging baskets, particularly when well-watered, can be quite heavy. You may want to exercise some restraint in the number of baskets you hang from the frame so you don't torque it or bend/break something.

I have not hung any baskets yet in my HFGH, but in a recent thread Funnylady mentioned these black plastic clips, 20 for $9.95, from ACF Greenhouses. They are designed to hold up bubble wrap as well as hanging baskets, and they apparently just clip in the wall and roof stud tracks.

She uses them to hang lots of orchids in her HFGH (she put two 10x12s together.) There's a good picture of her hanging orchids about 2/3 of the way down this thread: Two 10x12 HFGHs Joined Together

I grow cacti and succulents and those hanging plants can get huge and weigh a ton (heavy sandy soil too) and I'm still debating about how much weight I should hang from my HFGH roof. I may try to build some kind of separate rack out of pipe, and attach it to my benches instead, for bigger plants. I intend to order some of the clips to play around with though, they look like they would be handy, and seem to work well for hanging baskets.

I was typing while you were, kudzu9, and that's the concern I have, especially with my very heavy plants. Plus, I have Aluminet shadecloth hanging just inside my roof, which complicates things further, since it's harder to get to the roof studs!

I was thinking a person could even use those clips to attach shadecloth to the inside of a roof, as well. No doubt I will find a use for them once they get here.

My benches are anchored into the ground with concrete so I know they'd be a good anchor for some kind of plant rack that transfered the weight down to the ground. Still plotting... :-)

I recall this question a few years ago, when an owner of a Rion had the same problem: too much weight on the frame, and the answer was a galvanized metal rod on legs, rather like a clothing rack one see is shops, but without the wheels.

I have a 6' X 8' HFGH that currently has 8 16" baskets and 4 14" baskets hanging in it. I made a simple frame out of wood inside the greenhouse. I put a pipe through a hole on top of the frame and hooks on the supports on the sides.

The frame is a sort of modified "A" frame structure, built out of 2" X 2" lumber.

I went to Lowes in the electrical dept and got these U clamps and used T bolts to install them and then hang baskets from them
