I'm in Western Europ (Flanders).
My son has sent me a picture of a tree, growing in the Abel Tasman National Park, New Zealand. (Recently taken; I think it's spring in the picture).

I suppose it shows a lot of mistletoe growths.
(I could send a better picture, but then I would exceed the 60 K limit).
Mistletoe is common here (Viscum album), but I did not know that it grows down under as well.
I wonder:
- In that mistletoe (and its host tree) indigenous to New Zealand, and if so, do you know their names?
- Or, are the mistletoe in question, and the tree, introduced species, and is it just Viscum album?
Thanks in advance
Roger Van Loon.
