Aluminet shade cloth, leave it on for the winter?

I remember reading something about this material holding heat in during the winter? Is it so? I have 70% and it's covering the majority of the back (west facing) wall, the south side wall. Of course the North wall is probably where it needs to be for this upcoming season...but it's a booger boo to try to move...UGH, I dont like the prospect of that at all...

This is the first time with it for winter. I think it was great during the summer, I know if sure made a difference in the temps inside.

I'm just not really clear on how it's supposed to work to do the reverse with keeping heat in. Doesn't seem logical to me.
