For a few years now, my compost bins consisted of two big round cages made from concrete reinforcing wire. They have worked fine for me, but not long ago, I was driving in one of the nearby neighborhoods and spotted something great. It was a double compost bin built of chain link. You could tell it was professionally done. Sooooo....I called my fence man, told him what I'd seen, and he said, "That's my mom's place you saw. I just built that for her for Mother's Day." I just had to have one and decided that I would spend part of my tax rebate/incentive on it. He installed it yesterday afternoon. On top of that, he even transferred both compost piles and hauled away the old wire cages. Oh, it looks wonderful!!! My friend teased me and said, "Oh good, now your compost has its very own fenced in yard."

Hey, can you post a picture of that???? I would love to see that!
