Roses from Roses Unlimited are planted

Well the roses I bought this year are all planted. I got 2 Double Delights, Bolero, Halloween, Mystic Beauty. Today I am working a new area of the garden..down the row from the already established Rose Garden. I had to have hubby pull some plants out for this new area. I have my eye on three plants for SP. My French lace is a J and P rose..maybe I will SP and order a new one own root, and Intrigue..she looks like doody..and that damn Europeana rose. It is always BS. These are all in pots and I am about to give up. Now, I can enjoy what I have planted and consider what I am going to add to this new area. More pinks and OGR for sure. I am going to plant some clematis now and maybe some other companion plants with them

How did your rose bushes look from RU? I am new to roses and want to order some from them next spring...QB

queenbee_1, I have only bought a very few roses in the time I've lived in my present location, but two were from RU, and they arrived in terrific condition, just the same as in the picture posted by jim1961. They were easy to plant and established themselves well.

How do they package their roses if they are that size and how much is the shipping?

Their UPS shipping for me (SC to MA, about 10 mi. north of Boston, for one or two roses) is $10.

The roses from Roses Unlimited come in pots and the shipping is not cheap. But, Ooooooooh! Their roses are beautiful and healthy and often breaking into bloom when you get them. I'd get everything from Roses Unlimited if they had everything I wanted.

My new roses looked rather stressed..but I am sure they will recover. They were big and nice. So far, I have enjoyed the own root from Palantine the best

I like your kitties too. I have Mystic Beauty, new from RU, among others. Too much planting and too little time. I hope they do great for you.

They staple those little boxes to a bigger box that holds several roses--they have a box designed to hold three smaller roses. The three I got 1-1/2 weeks ago are doing fine.
