I buy from Palatine roses. Order early, as soon as they have their website up, because the good ones and new ones sell out fast. Their roses are huge and they carry roses no one else has. I love the Freelander roses which last forever in a vase.

Palatine or Pickering. Pickering has an amazing list of old roses too (they offer 900+ roses every year). Both websites are on for browsing with the exception of the new listings and the prices. The new additions probably will be listed in August or early September and from that point on they will accept orders. Both nurseries ship both in fall and spring. Minimum order is 3 roses.

They both use Multiflora rootstocks. Works well in our area. Make sure it's suitable for yours. Palatine bareroots roses come with the biggest root mass I have ever seen. The canes do not tend to be as thick as J&P's. But the superior root mass more than make up for that.

Large: Palatine and Wisconsin Roses. One or two might sneak in from Witherspoon.

Minis: Rosemania.com, Almost Heaven (both sell own root). Every once in awhile from Two Sisters.

I have ordered roses several times from K & M Roses, and am very happy both with the service and the roses.... they are all on Fortuniana, which is needed for Fla., the roses were large and some blooming, and they are thriving in my garden..... sally

You can try Reagan's in Fremont, CA. I have not ordered from them, but they are a large nursery. Shipping might be a little cheaper than Canada or Wisconsin..:-)
