I would use it but probably not depend on it to fertilize.

My jug of Fish/Seaweed Emulsion is going on 4 years old, but I keep it inside during cold winter months. Its seems to be working just fine. I have used it twice this spring already.

how big are your jugs that they last you 4-5 years? and where do you get them this big? I have to buy new every season - small plastic 1 qt containers

Actually, I use manure mostly, plus compost for the soil, So the fish Emulsion is just an extra I use, so it last long.
But because I use manure, the weeds are hored and so I am going back to my original gardening techniques of relying heavily on Fish Emulsion and no manure, next year. Plsu less weeds means less straw and even less weeds..
