First thing you will want to do is put them in smaller pots. The one on the right looks very small, a 2 inch pot would work. For the one on the left, go down one or two sizes. It doesnt need a pot much bigger than its root ball.

Also, keep them out of direct sun, and try not to get water on the leaves.

What did you use for potting soil?

Just an added note: you can get water on the leaves, just not cold water. It will spot them.

Also, most violets are killed by over-potting and over-watering. Do as Lauraeli suggests and pot down.

I do give my AVs a very occasional shower (in warm water) to clean them :-) if you do get them wet, make sure to dry them.

You dont want any water to sit in the crown (that's the middle of the plant) or it can rot them.
