Hi,

There are trees on my street that create a nice mist, almost a light rain, even if it has been hot and sunny for weeks. Someone said they are liquidambar, and they look like it according to pics on Wikipedia, but the wiki page makes no mention of this amazing rain.

Do you know what type of tree this is? And how/why it does what it does?
