I think if the fabric is comfortable to sit on, you could probably use it, though I have never done it. Might fade less from window light too.

Thankyou for the thumbs up! I was really worried that it would look wrong indoors. I guess what really convinced me to buy it, besides the feel and color, was the great width and amazing price (on sale!!) I feel at ease now. You creative decorators are super people for us wee DIY amateurs!!!

Could you buy half a yard and put it in your house for a week to help you decide? I have outdoor pillows mixed with others on my couch and also outdoor cushions on my built-ins in the diningroom. I should also say I have a messy little boy, a dog and no lawn. All the dirt and mud from outside is dragged indoors. The beauty in outdoor fabric is how easily it is cleaned. I literally take the pillows outside and hose them off, put them on the deck to dry. And, it is your house... if you like it go with it!! Your house should have things you love and be yours not a designer's. I have a picture of my son and husband sticking their tongues out immediately inside my front door. It makes me laugh and smile every time I come home. For sure not a designer piece.

We have a new crossover between indoor and outdoor. Not all outdoor fabrics meet the acid test, but so many designers are now in the indoor/outdoor fabric business. So we have haute fabric for either situation. We are so fortunate to live in these times and to have such an abundance of fabrics available for most every project. I never thought I would see the day when I would specify outdoor anything for indoors....but here we are, and happily I might add.

Its a good thing , since they are tough so the fabric lasts longer ; True Value for Money .
