I presume that you mean 'Lady Emma Hamilton' and 'Young Lycidas'?

If you look on the David Austin web site, their fragrances are described as "strong fruity" and "tea" morphing into "old rose" as the bush matures.

Thanks Jackie. I wasn't sure that the DA site would fully define them. Both of these bushes are less than 3 months old, so I probably won't be able to tell much now anyway. I have 11 David Austins. Maybe I will be able to smell more next spring.

Young Lycidas has a sweet Old Rose scent. It's a nice fragrance, not a musky myrrh type.

Depending on the temperature Lady Emma smells like FRESHLY cut Tangerines. Sweet and very citrusy.
