What do I feed my Amaryllis planted in the ground?

My leaves are up anywhere from 4" to 10". Just want to know when and what to feed them. Wonder could I use 8-8-8 on them as I have lots of them. I live just above the FL. panhandle border in AL. They grow very well here, just never know what feeding is best for them.
